 Egg Laying?

Can someone tell me what is the best substrate is to use and how to put it in the terrarium meaning in a separate bowl or just spread it around?

I use Eco-earth and I have it in a plastic container with lids so they don’t get dirt EVERYWHERE....grrrrrrrrrr

This is my first one I did two yrs ago...now I use bigger plastic containers..my dragons are bigger now...you can get them at target or Walmart..just make sure you get 2 of them..so you can make it tall enough...

Yeah I ended up cutting a hole in the top of the lay box because one time I had the opening to the lay box facing the pond......ha ha guess what... ALL THE DIRT ENDED UP IN THE POND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....They were in the back of the box digging and dirt was just flying out the door....it was awful it clogged up my filter it was just a mess....So I put the hole in the top and put a stick in the hole so they can climb in & out.....believe me I’ve learned my lesson about lay boxes...LOL...
