 Need Some Help

hey all, so I got my baby water dragon like a mounth ago, and i posted earlyer that he bite a bit of his tail off and it left like a lil peice of tail bone sticking out, im wondering if that is going to cause some problems or will it just get healed over, also i noticed that he is alot less active then i first got him, he likes to stay at the bottom of the cage now, and just like hide in the cool dark spots under the big plants that i have, as to climbing around on the trees braches at the top like he used to, is this a issue or am I just over thinking it ????

Hm, is is it possible to get a picture of the tank and the tail of your dragon? He did not bite part of his tail off, its likley that eaither crickets chewed it off, or he caught it on something and it broke. If there is exposed bone, be sure to keep it VERY clean or an infection WILL collect. Raise his temps a little to see if that helps any. It is likley that the little bit will die and shed off, but keep a very close eye on it. It sounds like he needs a trip to the vet to get some antibiotics to fight off an infection. Try and get us some pics and hopefully that will help better. Good luck
