Differences... 
I was just wondering abt the differences in keeping lizards in other countries compared to mine. I have read from this post that most of u have got humidifiers and heating/basking lamps for yr lizards. I dun have any of these and i dun need them cos i live in a tropical country and we have sun the whole year round. WDs are natives to my country. All i need to do is prepare a large enough cage for them and they are happy. I m thinking of getting chameleons next. Do u think they thrive in tropical climates?

I live in Montgomery, Alabama and I need humidifiers and basking lamps during the winter, but in the summer I only need a UV bulb and a small lamp.

I live in Vancouver BC, and I need all the stuff for the winter. I’m not sure about summer yet as I’ve only had mine for 2 1/2 weeks, but my apartment gets pretty hot in the summer, about 35-40 degrees, and my windows are tiny, so I may just need a regular bulb, and possibly a humidifier. I guess we’ll find out in a few months.

chameleons do thrive in tropical enviroments but they have very big needs they are for advanced herpers only and you gotta have a lot of room.

What country do you live in? We have friends from Malaysia but they live here in the USA now. You may still need a few items if you are keeping them inside, or do you have an out side viv. post some pictures would love to see your CWD and your viv. Where I live the weather changes constantly some times cold some times warm. So we need all the different items

Yeah i live in Malaysia but i am in europe at the moment and i’ll be here for a year. i have a wire cage that i built myself and its out on the patio. its in the shade but they get sunlight at diff times of the day. malaysia is a tropical country and we have sun the whole year. WDs are also native to malaysia so equipments needed to keep them are minimal. I have actually posted many pics on this site. look for the name jumanji.
