Isis wont eat HELP!!! 
Something is wrong with Isis. She hasnt been eating for like the past week or so. She is so skinny! I’ve been giving her feederfish and mealworms to eat, but she just nibbles on it doesnt swallow anything and then drops it!! HELP!! PLEASE!! I’m really worried about her.

hmm I’m not sure whats the proble but maybe she’s gravid, I’ve heard that they don’t eat a lot when they’re like that.

If she is skinny she isn’t very likely gravid. Better try to get her mouth open and see what it looks like. White teeth, pink tongue are good. If she truly hasn’t eaten anything in a week you may have to force feed her to see if you can get her interested in eating again. T.D. has a insect slurry she uses, but I am too lazy for that. When Agua was ill last month, we used chicken and gravy strained baby food thinned slightly with pedialite (you can use gatorade also) and syringe fed her twice daily. She would take about 3-5 ml. She is a 4 yr. old dragon. A smaller dragon will probably only need a couple of ml. A reptile’s stomach is only 25-50 ml. so don’t over do it. You can also use squash with the chicken if isis is a veggie eater. If her mouth doesn’t look healthy she needs to get to a vet ASAP. BTW, my dragons are older and can do without a meal-but they are pretty much on a hunger strike right now also. Only Avanyu (my male) is really eating much. The girls are only nibbling if they eat at all.

thank you so much!! i will try that. I’m so worried about her, but ironically she is so hyper you would think that since she hasnt eaten she would be chilled out ya know? ill try the gatorade thing with the baby food. thank you for all ur help ill update u when she gets better.

I fed her some Crickets yesterday, and she ate those, so hopefully she will start eating again. I think what it was, was she was wanting to chase something to eat...Idk tho. I’ll send more updates later Thanks again

Drago ate 3 crix this a.m. and I left some hopping arond the viv, but she’s just not eating much at all. I guess 3 is better than none!
