 How much food
Unlike some animals, like dogs, wd’s will stop eating or refuse food when they are full. Feed them as much as they like and alternate the crickets with mealworms, live goldfish and earthworms. My wd’s love earthworms that I collect on the land of a nearby organic farm -- they don’t use pesticides, herbicides or any chemicals. I also keep my own colonies of crickets and mealworms -- they are incredibly easy to maintain and the little bit of bother saves me a lot of money (I’ve got a fairly large menagerie).Oh yeah, don’t leave uneaten food with your buddies. Crickets will munch on them and dead insects and earthworms will create a smell.
