Oh no If they are flying i’d guess fruit flies. Actually a food source for smaler reptiles. Other than being annoying, no big thing! I get them in my house if the bananas sit for too many days.

Oh no Diane, Do you know how ppl use them as a food source? It’s always confused me. Cause what can you do besides just let them loose in a cage which then means they get loose in the house? Have you ever used fly larvea as a food source? I was thinking about trying that. I read they can be stored in the freeze and won’t do anything, just wait to be eaten. Dunno though.

Oh no I’ve never used fruit fly’s or maggots, but i know they sell them at grubco.com in little vials. I guess for anoles and frogs and smaller reps. My dad grows daylillies and right now he is harvesting a bumper crop of fruit flies in the daylillies he’s growing from seed on his window sills at home. he said he has thousands of them. Good thing he lives alone! As to the fly larvae (maggots) yes you can feed that but the thought of maggots is as gross to me as feeding them roaches. Yuck!
