Hello there Saf. One thing you should know about waxworms is that they are very high in fat, and very low in the things your dragon does need, like calcium. Therefore, they should only be used as "treats." I feed Blaze waxworms every Sunday. I put 6 in his little food dish. Sometimes he gets picky though and will only take them from the tongs. As far as the fruit and veggies go, I still cannot get Blaze to eat these. But if I ever do, I’ll let you know. Hope this helped out some. Good Luck! -Natalie

I realized I forgot to answer a few of your questions. I’ve heard most dragons love the waxworms because they basically are to them how candy would be to humans. :) They will help to put weight on your little guy, and I don’t feed mine. They just come in a little container that you keep in the fridge. Hope this helps! -Natalie

Yeah, that is true. If you were to feed him waxworms daily, he would probably become picky and not want to go back to the crickets and other things you may feed him. This is why they should only be used as "treats." I would recommend giving him no more than 6 a week. -Natalie

What are the best type of worms to feed 3-week old hatchlings and 3-month old babies? I was afraid mealworms are too hard so I have been giving both wax worms serveral times a week with crickets.
