Judging from your dragon that is a female if the TOTAL lenght of her is 12-18 inches long from mouth to tail. If she is only 12 inches there might be a SLIGHT chance it could turn out to be a male however from the low spines on the back and the head shape it would be most likly a female.

Once a dragon reaches 18" from head to tail it is not to soon to tail. By the time the dragon is 1 year old (12") you can "begin" to tell what he/she will be. From prier posts by dragon girl, that dragon is 12" + which from the look of the dragon it will be a Female.

hey rockman i just noticed that from your picture that you have a heat rock in your dragons enclosure, you should DEFINANTLY get that put right away because it will burn your dragons stomak, because they cant judge heat on there underside. or you could just un plug it.

Storm&RexIs it a good idea to keep an older male with a juv female? He’ll want to breed and she might not be ready .. you see where I’m going with this?? Do they get on ok?? I guess they do if they’re both happy in the same tank. Just concerend me when I saw them housed together.

I notice that you have all sides of the tank covered. I just have the back covered with a view of the jungle, and my WD keeps trying to climb the glass. Should I cover the back and sides as well ? here is a picture of my tank, it’s still in the works.

she escapes from him he he he :)
and then she climbs my plant her favourite sleeping place when she`s out of the viv
then he also goes to sleep with the hump i think cos she didnt want to know him tonite lol
lol they had a great time that night they were runing around all over the place till 11 0clock there bedtime

looks female, but from what I have learned, best way to tell it from lookin at the pores ... there are some pics in the "How to tell a male from a female", post .... orMale

You can just see the femoral pore on the female, alomst invisable, just a very fant line .... I think if its inbetween thses pics, just means, youy WD is still a juivie ...

Dragos’ MOM ... if your WD is young, she might still be a HE ... the male pores (from what i undersatnd) don’t start to develope till after they are past the jouvie stage (i think 1.5 years) ... after that then they realy become visable, or not .... When they are young, I think Males and females all have proes that are harldy visable ....
