Hi, New member and a question
I have a female? waterdragon, and she eats a lot! How do I tell if she is getting fat? She eats everyday, normally between 10 and 20 super worms. She is a little over a year old, and has had some health issues that were caused by strees. She is very healthy now. Any input would be welcome..Thanks |

Hi, New member and a question
if u visibly see that she looks bloated just dont feed her everyday apart from that she wont eat if she`s not hungry so she is probably just happy with her lifestyle ps my waterdragons eat only once or twice a week i feed them locusts waxworms and pinky`s they luv them so much. Then during the week i might give them some crickets but thats not very often as the male doesnt chase them i have to put them in his water dish before he bothers with them |

Hi, New member and a question

Thank you for your advise! I don’t know if anyone has a waterdragon that is as insistant as she is. If I don’t feed her at about the same time everyday, she throws temper tantrums. She will jump up on the front of her cage and scratch, all the while looking at me. As soon as I feed her, she quits..She had stress problems when we moved, and I had to force feed her for almost 2 months before she ate on her own. She still insists on being hand fed, and only about 10% of the time will she eat without us holding her and the bowl. She knows what bowl the food comes in too. LOL Thank you for your info! |
