What kind of substrate would be good for CWD’s? Would the bean farm, lol I love their name, bio or bog mats be good?

 What kind of substrate????

Oh ya and would a 90 gallon tall work? The dimensions are 48"x18"x25" (LWH), or would a 48"x24"x24" (LWH) be better?

 What kind of substrate????

I use a special kind of large wood chip that retains water to help keep the humidity higher. Killer also has some large pieces of slate, wood and some calci sand in his tank.

bark chips would be good. Just make sure the pieces aren’t big enough to swallow and you need a tall cage. Like ours is 74"x38"x38"(HLW)Alot of people say that they do not need height, but they do. They love to climb up high. Oh, and if yours is glass, watch out for nose rub. It can be dangerous. They don’t understand glass.

 What kind of substrate????

I started using Ecco Earth (ground coconut husks) in my viv. It doesn’t mold, my live plants grow in it, it absorbs water readily and keeps the humdity level in my large aquarium at an acceptable level with a waterfall and mister. I have not had to change it in the 6 months that I have had the new viv set-up.

I am not stupid but what I was trying to ask is if would be a better idea to feed him the live food out of his enclosure.
