Age and size i might have a problem

today i measured my two Australian water dragons, and since they dont have intact tails, i measured snout to vent. one was 6 inches and one was 5.5. now according to TRICAS water dragon size and age chart, my dragons are 18 months old. now when i look at pics of other peoples CWDs they are like a lot bigger and they are around the same age. could it be that my dragons are growing slow because of the enclosure their in? there in a 40 breeder right now. and i made another post about building another tank and when i should do it, but nobody seems to want to respond to when i should build. so if anybody wants to take the time to read and respond to this post, could you please tell me when i should build a new enclosure for my two aussie dragons, and if they are growing slow because of the 40 breeder that they are in.

thank you in advance

You should build that new enclosure right away, you will also need to separate them. The reason they are not growing is because they are not getting enough of the right food and vitamins. What are you feeding them ? how often ? and is one more dominent over the other.
I have 3 CWD and they are all in separate self built cages measuring 3 1/2 ft. high, 3 1/2 ft. wide and 2 1/2 ft. in dept. But as the WD’s grow were gonna have to make them larger. 40 breeder size just seems way to small for 2 WD’s.

ok, but i will NOT need to seperate them, because they are Australians, and not Chineese. go to www.agamainternational.com and read up on Australian water dragons, it says their that two males can saftly be housed together. as for the food, i feed them freeze dried crickets coated in calicum poder, meal worms, feeder fish, collered, turnip, and musterd greens, and large black chickets. they also have food constnantly in their food dish.

well i am going to build a new enclosure out of wood and mesh, so how big should i make this new enclosure? i was thinkin, 7 feet wide, by 6 feet deep, by 8 feet high.
