Well thanx to my dad jollop now has a proper viv!! and its fantastic!! he seems to love it! well heres his old one... And..Drum role....the new house Wadya thing?! i love it, hes got a new waterfall in there, jungle gym, more climby plants a bit log and it looks gr8!! ill get sum more pics once my comp will work lol xx safxx

no ur not seeing things, my dad made a tank thing n it fills the whole of the bottom, then he has a shelf thing thats half the width of his viv. xx saf xx

that Looks very cool. Thats almost exactly what I want to build come winter for Ripley. I don’t know about the whole bottom being flooded tho..that could be hard to keep clean. And not to be picky but whats up with the Desert back ground? shouldnt it be jungleish.

Thanx Centikid .Yea i like the back groud 2....it was the only one i could get and i had to get two becoz one wouldnt fit lol so yea jungle would b better but it dont really mater, after all its just a picture lol...im going to use a safen pipe to get the water out then clean the alergy of with a damp cloth and presto...clean pool. itll take a wile but hey, hes worth it xx saf xx

your viv looks great I like the idea of the bottom being all water I have a two foot fish tank fitted in the bottom but yours looks better and I like the background I had that on my last viv and dweezle would try and climb onto the rocks on it.

yea jollop does that lol these a plant on it and he was trying 2 grab hold ov it!! i dont think hes worked out how to get on the shelf bit yet tho lol he sits on his water fall and his log in the water...i put him up there so he can go to bed. im sure hell figure it. he also seems to have stop freaking out like he was before...so hopfully its bcoz his tank it more natual for him..thanx agian xx saf xx

I don’t have a water dragon yet, just looking into it at the moment, don’t have the space to dedicate to one :( however I’ve been thinking about what to build for a viv and I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on putting a drain valve in the bottom of the pond/pool? It would make it a lot easier to clean and was wondering if Saf could add one in to hers? Whatcha think?

thanx rockman, yea Mekha Isfet i thought ov the draning thing ages ago and it would have being a good idea, i didnt do it becouse me n dad had to get it done and ready asap becouse jollop had to be in a small fish tank wile it was getting ready which wasnt fair on him. im just take about a bucket full ov water out every other day and im gonna empty it once a week to clean and re fill it...luckly im a student at collage with no job so i have plenty ov time lol its a good idea if u can get it to work tho! xx saf xx

Well I was thinking, if you can drain the water then couldn’t you clean the pool in the tank without removing it? I bought Coburn’s "Guide to Owning Water Dragons, Sailfin Lizards, and Basilisks" (which turned out not to be quite as informative as I had hoped) but in it he mentioned making a cement pond in the viv. was figuring it would be not the difficult to put a pvc ball valve in the bottom so that it’ll drain into a bucket underneath. The more I thought about it, the more I’m leaning towards a garden landscaping pond, drilling a hole in the bottom and caulking a pvc valve in it. Your viv looks beautiful though. I’m getting some really good ideas from seeing all the vivs everyone’s made. Thanks for the pics.
