Heres one we caught a while back.

The pattern is odd for a watersnake...the snake is thin...not thick bodied and is light in color for a snake his size if it were a watersnake...im goin with a phase of corn snake....but the pic is to far back of a shot to tell for sure

I’m going to guess you caught this in North FL, or probably the panhandle. It’s a anery cornsnake.

The more i stare at it the more im saying not watersnake...if it is most likely a light phased northern...looks nothing like a diamondback but im not to sure on the color variation of the ones here in the south and the north

Heres one we caught a while back.

It is not a watersnake. And after zooming in on the picture I don’t think it was a corn snake. I know it was a milk snake.

Heres one we caught a while back.

Like I restated, eastern milk snake.
And I’m not stubborn. Anyone with a very small amount of snake knowledge can tell the difference between

and a northern water snake.

and quite frankly, if you can’t tell the difference between a massasauga and a black rat snake, it doesn’t surprise me that you can’t tell the difference betweeen a milk and a water snake.

jeremy i think its an eastern milksnake seriously i could prove it but i know how to post an image go to www.chicagoherp.org then click on herps of illinois on the right side then go under milksnake and it shows different species of milksnakes that live in illinois and theres one that looks exactly like it or image search it
