 Won’t Shed

I have a young mangrove water snake who simply refuses to shed. She is still eating, defecating, & moving fine. She is soaking constantly & I have soaked her in warm water with shed ease. I know she has to shed because she milked but never shed. Any ideas?

my watersnake seems to take a lot longer than other snakes to complete the shed process, just give it time
unless the shed has started and was incomplete then things like soaking etc will help but if it isnt ready then the constant messing with it is only going to stres it out

I agree, don’t try to rush her. The clearing-up period between milkiness and actual shedding is both normal and harmless.
