 Accurate Pricelist?

Im going to get a water snake. First i want to know what i need and how i should set up the cage. I have snake experience. I mainly want to know if i need to have like half of the large cage as a pool or just a large water bowl. My pricing question is as follow. I am going to buy off of this breeder in florida. He is charging $12 for brown water snakes (i assume he means northern) and $15 for banded water snakes. Are these good prices?

Yea i would say that is good..

Read my caresheet if you like....and I would go with the waterbowl alot more easier to clean and half water with half land is just a hassel to clean

$12 dollars isn’t bad for any snake as long as it’s healthy and the seller should qualify that it is! Usually, Northerns go for $8 to $10 and Browns (nerodia taxispilota) go for about $12.00.
Personally, I would prefer to purchase a young snake (Brown) at about 12 inches in length. These are handleable and food of correct size is more easily obtainable.

Hey thanks guys. I also have a question on what they eat. I know they eat fish but what kind? can i feed it rodents?

Well no goldfish...I would suggest bait shops for getting fish or catching your own...

Watersnakes can be fed mice but not all will take to them
