 My baby northern water snake

hey here is my baby northern water....

he is about 2 1/2 3 months old now.. born here in captivity...
he is a calm snake but somedays he bites and thats it... he has the water snake additude, which is normal for them...


he is starting to change color now..... he is getting alot of red in his bands now



his name is mikey... but myhusband calls him mickey.... if you look toward the back of this body he has mickey mouse ear patterns... and i love the vertical stripe on his neck
he just shed so he is brite and pretty

his mother was a rescue. she had some injuries when I found her. and her thank you gift to me was 21 baby snakes I let most go with the mother. and kept a few the others found new homes and I kept this one.

they are everywere over here in pa.

i have lots of banded and southern water snakes on the golf course in summer but i don’t have any northern water snakes here in fl!

 Becareful!

I don’t know about those water snakes up there, but the water snakes down here in Kansas are very poisonous. There’s only like two snakes, and they are water mocassin and copper heads. But it seems like your snake isn’t poisonous. Just to let you know.

no water snake is venomus!!!!

water moccasins and copper heads are pit vipers!!!!!!
i think i would know if my snakes were venomus or not!!!
you need to do more research.....
