 ID SNAKE PLS....

This snake came into a building where my friend is renovating. It’s in northern Louisiana, but I’ve never seen a water snake this big or with such bold markings....is it a water snake? I’m very upset, because they killed it. I would have rescued it.

Its hard to tell but it may be a diamondback water.

It is indeed a Diamondback water snake....I hate they killed it.
