 Toxic saliva?

What is the saliva called that a water snake has that is so toxic? what would this do to you if you got bit by one?

Well the saliva is made to make the bite more painful, but I am imune to it.

The saliva of a water snake stops clotting. So in other words, when you get bit you continue to bleed for quite a while afterwards. Other than that, it doesn’t do anything to you. I have been bitten many times and other than scars, I am fine.
