is repti carpet ok for water snakes? cause when ever the water snake i am watching comes out of the water all of the dirt from the jungle bedding gets stuck to it.

no the fibers in the carpet arnt good for the snake i had that problem to when i asked my vet he said thats the nature of water snakes and never use capet for them because of somthing with the fibers however i think that astro turf might work idk for sure also newspaper is best though

i used repti carpet on mine its great just try not to feed on the carpet because look fibers can get on the food when they swallow it...other then that its good
