 Waxworms!!!!

i just got 2 packs for breeding(100 waxies) and their substrate is a mix of bran, crushed honey bunches of oats,honey,crushed up plain wheeties, a few pinches of vitamin and cal. powder, and a teaspoon of glycerine. the container is about 10 inches tall and 1 foot wide, same width. the other one is 4 in. wide and 1 1/2 feet tall. are these okay size enclosures for breeding? yes, they are ventilated. they both have a few pieces of long cardboard with stripped sides, a bee hive, and a bit of honey on the cardboard and hives.is it okay to put the honey on the cardboard and hives, though? i thought it would be a little more natural. there also is wax paper, both crumpled and uncrumpled with a bit of honey on the long piece of waxpaper.is this an okay setup? is there anything else i need or need to change?

hey gottee, do you think you could post a few pictures of your setup? also are waxies good for turtles? and also gottee, if u want i will trade you some silkies for some of ur waxies, or ill buy some from you.

i will get some pics up today.it looks like a mob of angry spiders destroyed the breeding cages or something!
waxies are okay as a treat to turtles because they are fatty and can be...addicting to reptiles.

sure i would like to trade for silkies.

they are super easy to breed but eat alot of food.

a very new breeding cage







this is the most intense cage-





i have another cage of waxworms/moths but i didn’t really want to spend time getting pics of it today. the whole top of the cage has cocoons and eggs, but oddly there are hardly any waxmoths in there that layed the eggs.
