also tanks are running short at my house how would a old beta live with my fbt..it 75% water in there tank and the water is about 1 or 2 inche deap

i would say dont do it. the toxins on you fbt is poisonous to any fish or small aminals that arn’y the same species.

for about 2 years i had an eel and an ealgy eater inthere with them and also my feeder guppies seem to do fine in there too (untill the where eaten) also it was anglekitty who had her toads in with mollies.. i think he should do fine i mean eh looks happy and all

Hello! Yes I have mollies in with my fbts. They have been in there for about a year and they are breeding like crazy! I do take the babies out and put them in their own tank until they get big enough to feed to my paddletail newt (who is in his own tank as well). As far as putting the betta in with the fbts-I probably would not do it. Not only because of the toxins but because bettas can be aggressive (hence the name fighting fish) and could injure your fbts. I tried to put my betta in with ghost shrimp and an african dwarf frog and he went after the frog so the betta was put back into his own tank. I do weekly water changes with my fbts and I have 2 powerful submersible filters on either end of the tank and they get cleaned every week when I do the water changes. It sounds like a lot of work but it only takes about an hour at most.

well the beta has been in there for 2 weeks ( or 1 ) and seems to be doing fine. He is old ( 4 or 3 ) and is lazy and there for whats notyhing to do with the toads. so fair he is doing great
