 THE FIRST EGG JUST HATCHED

My anoles can drink from a water dish. They dont drown. If the water is high they stand on the outside and carefully bend themselves over so they can lap it up.

the first one hatched at about 40 days, and it was kept at 85 degrees in a tupperware container with organic potting soil that was kept moist. The container had holes in it and one hole sufficient in size for an anole to crawl through. I kept the container inside of a predecorated 10 gallon cage so that once the first one hatched, it could go on into its cage and start living.
How Long has it been since your egg was laid, it could be a dud.
