I just read your post & I am very concerned.. I am new to the world of raising bearded dragons and have just bought a baby bd home. He is only ten days old, we have had him now for 2 days. At the bottom of your post you mentioned that baby’s should be 6 weeks old & 6 inches.. should i be worried?? Are there special things I should be doing??? Please help..

Abby,

The biggest thing is to watch him carefully for when he goes into that first shed. It is a very stressful process for them, especially the first one. He will slow down and maybe even stop eating. Once they stop eating a lot don’t start back up. Keep him very hydrated at that time as well. Very important. Just watch him carefully and he should be fine.
