Hopefully on the home stretch finishing mine. I need to finish the rock work, grout the styrofoam/tiles, put in the track for the glass, and screw in the temp guages. Then I’m done!

I see now that tile makes the beardies home into a little kitchen-look-a-like LOL!
Very nice, I think I might look into that!

I will get mine up. A before and after, as I will be changing everything after learning what all I need to get rid of, or change. Thanks guys!

Guess I should post mine too ... They are AP Cages T13, 48" x 30" x 18", the sand has been removed and I’m looking at putting tile down, but I’ve been waiting for them to be clean of pinworms. I’m thinking I might do 3 ft. of tile and 1 ft. of some other substrate they can dig in, but I’m not sure what I want to use. I use Pool filter sand for my Uro’s and might use that as it has no rocks, no dust and is very easy to clean.

Upgraded his tank, still need to do a few moderation’s: BEFORE PARASITES:
(getting rid of logs now due to the parasites & getting new stuff)

His tank now that he is on medication for parasites, so that it is easy to clean daily.
(it looks so low-rental with the brown boxing and paper towel, haha)

He actually seems to like it better with the paper towel because he can dig and burrow himself under it... I just think it is so funny, because the cheaper I go, the more he enjoys it! :(

AND after I bring in his second fecal a month from now to rule out Alexi being parasite free, I will put his tile back in, buy him a nice big stone to bask on, buy him some new wood for a hide and more plants. Also, he will have his brand new UVB light which I have on order, and will hopefully be a happy camper!

I’ll post new pics of it when it is all set up. I also hope to get another smaller tank for him for just digging in since it has become something new he really enjoys :)

(excuse my camera, it is not normally that dark in his cage, haha)

A little late... but here’s my enclosure. Its 48"w x 30"t x 24"d. You can also see my roach house to the left on the floor. I think its really boring looking... I want to get some kind of brick or cement block to use as a basking spot. Because the enclosure is all wood, and all the light reflecting off of it... it makes it look really orange inside. I want to line the inside with melamine maybe, or paint it white. Any ideas on what I can do to spruce it up a bit?? Any suggestions welcome... I just don’t want it to be cluttered.

I caught him sleeping... like thats hard to do lol.

I got lucky when looking for paint, I walked into the hardware store, and there was a whole wall, full of every different color paint, in little 59ml bottles, all water based, lol...Boy did I ever luck out, lol...I don’t know how many I bought either, and have so much left over...Oh well, I am sure it will get used for the next beardie enclosure when all the eggs hatch :)
