It’s definitely not the best thing if you only intend on doing this to keep the bird company. Some budgies are ok with mirrors, others turn nasty towards their owners because they bond to the mirror. So I’d hold off doing that at least until your budgie is tame & trained. A budgie will NEVER be lonely or bored if you spend enough time in the day with it. It does not have to have another bird for company, just you will do for interaction, learning from & playing with toys with. If you’re not able to give the budgie the time it needs then you may want to rethink owning one. |
