I just got a baby BRB female......
I also have Plexiglas over most of the top(3/4) to be exact. I’ve been researching alot and I know how to care for her. So whether I did research before or after purchasing her it doesn’t much matter she is being well looked after. Thanks alot
Dani

Lashing out, are we???
And by the way, you can’t look at a snake and say "oh, it’s breathing, it’s healthy and doing well"
Just one of reptiles’ many adaptations is to not show ANY weakness or sickness, even if they are near death, because otherwise they will be picked off by a predator. If you have the wrong husbandry, most likely your snake will get a deadly sickness, and you won’t ever know untill it dies. That is why what they were trying to get through to you is really important to listen to.

I just got a baby BRB female...... Come on Reflex, can’t you see she can keep a whole thread going just by herself? lol.
This woman is obviously too crazy and stubborn to listen to our advice and adhere to it. How long has she had it? Three weeks now? It takes longer than that to find out if anything is wrong. And she probably hasn’t even brought it to the vet yet. Listen dude, ditch the heat lamp and get yourself an UTH. Don’t listen to that "breeder" friend of yours, she obviously has no clue what she’s doing and she’s (really) obviously too immature to take on responsibilities such as breeding.

I just got a baby BRB female...... wow.........to everyone on here who sat hear and ridiculed her for asking a question so that she could be a good snake owner. first off how many of you knew everything there was to know about snakes before you got your first one huh. give her a break most people get pets because there cool then when they realize how much it takes to take care of them get rid of them or let them die i know because Ive adopted many pets snake, iguanas, dogs, frogs, and even turtles and did my best to take care of them until i found them a good home. so i know about bad ownership but why are y’all giving her a hard time for trying to do the right thing. dani keep doing your research and if you really love snakes you will learn what you need to know and be a good owner, and don’t let all these clowns get you down and good luck with your snake. maybe one day me and you will both be perfect and know everything like all the other clowns on here.

I just got a baby BRB female...... how is asking a question with the purpose of being a better owner stupid or ignorant i would say its smart and responsible telling someone they are stupid and irresponsible is whats not ok have all of your pets had perfect living habbitats and diets. if you say yes than your lying because the only ways for them to have that is to be in the wild were they are suppose to be and how is what shes doing dangerous if the snake is eating sheeding hydrating and shes making every attempt to improve on its quality of life, then why are yall givin her so much smiley.

I just got a baby BRB female...... 1) a responsible pet owner does proper research before getting a pet, even if it is just a pet cat or hamster.
2) We are not getting angry because she asked a few questions. We are more than happy to help anyone who needs it. We get touchy when the owner decides that they don’t need help (when obviously they do) and continues bad husbandry because they don’t feel like taking the time and energy to fix their mistakes.
That snake’s life is in her hands, she had better listen and not take the advice given for granted, or the poor animal will suffer and die, all because of her.

I just got a baby BRB female...... Yes some people here get a little to snappy but most of the time it is for a good reason. Yes it would have been better to go some research first. Its always nice to know what your getting in to. Just PLEASE for the sake of your snake make sure you have a UTH. Also that the temps and humidity is right. One last thing that log looks like crap it would be smart to replace it with a different hide(non wood) Im not claiming to be a expert on BRBs b/c im not im just saying what I do know and have researched.

I just got a baby BRB female...... My snake is doing great and I’ve had her for over a month. I may be a rookie at this but I’m handling everything well. I have an heating pad under her tank no heat lamps. Her Temp and Humidity is perfect. She has a water dish large enough to soak in and some moss in the tank. I have a hiding spot in the warm part of the tank and cold. I mist her tank twice a day. She gets fed two fuzzies once a week.
Thanks

I don’t Have a heat lamp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a UTH. My friend knows what she is doing-you are the immature one-okay DUDE. Your rude comments keep this thread going-so bring it on. I’ve had my snake for over a month now. Her temp. during the day is 78-80 and at night in the 70’s just like I’ve researched. Her humidity is between 75-80 as needed too. I mist her tank 2-3 times a day. she has two hide boxes and a branch to climb on. She eats two fuzzies a week. She’s 7 mths old and healthy. So put that in your pipe and smoke it lady.
