 Indoor Ragdoll Cat Wants Outside

Quote:

Everything was fine and dandy ’til we found her dead body halfway eaten by the old treehouse

OMG thats horrible!

My cat doesn’t get outside. We live in an apartment complex where there are alot, alot of dogs and alot of them do not like cats. So she does not go outside ever, but I buy her natural cat plants that she can eat and she has a cat seat in the window seal where she can smell and see all the out side she wants. Her cat tree is in the dog room where she also has a clear view of the outside as well. They don’t need to go outside to live a happy healthy life

Not for someone with a spayed, vaccinated, indoor cat with a cat run that is fed each and every day by a family that loves and cares for her.

That really made me smile and feel so much better about Kira (the wanna be outdoor kitty)

Well i am pleased to say she is putting some weight on (finally, its nice to not feel her spine), slowly starting to want more and more attention, sleeping with the other cats and is all in all much more playful and happier. Shes doesn’t try to escape much anymore. Obviously we still have some issues but were getting there :D It is great to see some progress with her ^_^

I do agree with dragongirl6 that we got the other cats, we knew the risks, she didn’t seem too bad when we got the second cat so we assumed she would be fine with the other two. But now she is a much happier indoor cat.

Thankyou for trying to help Keechoo but giving her a new home wouldn’t have helped her it would probably have stressed her out i know her personality and she has her little spots in the house now, it would kill her to lose HER little areas. And i am a firm believer in indoor cats. I don’t believe in having them outdoors, sorry if you do but i just don’t think the risks are worth it when it involves someone you love.
