I love most all dogs except for bully breeds. Here’s my top 10 breeds:

1) doberman pinscher (I have an 11 month old named Rocky)
2) American cocker spaniel (I have one of these, too. 4 year old Sierra)
3) Akita (I had one when I was a kid. He was the most loyal dog ever)
4) GSD (beautiful and intelligent, prefer black and tan to sable)
5) Miniature Australian Shepherd (beautiful, petite dogs)
6) Miniature Bull Terrier (my ONE exception to the bullies!)
7) Great Danes (I want one but two dogs max in my apt. I love harlequins and plain fawn and blacks)
8) Siberian Huskies (I wish I lived somewhere cold so I could have one)
9) Yorkshire Terrier (pretty little dogs)
10) Champion Purebred Heinz 57 mixes! (especially the larger mixed breeds)

Chinese Cresteds for sure. I have Cresteds and Chihuahuas. The Cresteds are so sweet and easy to train. They will all go inside when I tell them. They even wait just inside the door while I chase the Chis around trying to catch them.

It’s cool that so many people like english mastiffs aka mastiffs cause my aunt breeds them. Personally my favorite breed of all breeds is the bull mastiff because not only don they have the brain but they have the bronze as well. Pitbulls are my second favorite because they are so misunderstood. It just kills me to see that people can see a few bad things done by a breed of dog and automatically asume that every single member of that breed is the same way. Its the same with rottweilers. What people dont realize is dogs go by their human leaders actions thats what their brain is triggered to do, follow. As for the wolves dont make good pets all of these favorite dog evolved from those wolves there fore falling into the belief that absoluly no dog is a good pet. The reason I take offense to the wolf thing is because one of my best pets was one and she sucked her water not lapped. People beleave that to be a sign of a dog who can never be tamed and I tamed her.

Well, I hadn’t planned on posting on this, just reading through, but I read all 100+ posts and my dog wasn’t mentioned ONCE!!! I have always been partial to Danes, and my husband decided we were getting something else, I was not interested but agreed. He brought home a Weimaraner, Monroe, and it is one of the best dogs I have ever had and definatly added to my favorite dog list!!! He is so loyal, so smart and such a personality!!! anyone else have any experience with Weimers??

ALASKAN MALAMUTE’s are mine because they are the most like wolves out of all the dogs. I have two malamutes and a wolf but ya cant really define a wolf as a dog even though dogs were once wolves.
