well i drilled about 15 more holes in a row across the middle of the top. the lid curves out so the holes are right at the highest point of the cage. it should help allot with the humidity because now the air can get in through the sides and get out the top, taking the humidity with it.

i have found that its allot easier to get humidity to go up than down. i hadn’t misted for 3 days and the humidity was still up at 80. i would rather it go lower, like to 70, and mist it to boost it up to 90 each night.

I would use fiberglass screen if you don’t feed crickets all that often. Then just silicone it to the plastic. Silicone might hold tighter than the glue. If you go with aluminum screening, it will protect the sharp edges better as well.
