I have been bit by lots of garters. used to catch them every day when i was a kid when it was summer. Scares ya more then hurts but does bleed. Also got bit by my Nic RTB but she was just a baby at the time and felt more like someone flicked me (was right on the tip of my nose lol) left lettle red dots but no blood. Waiting for my guyanan RTB to bite me but she is pretty damn tame - just puts up a show to try to stop ppl from messing with her. Also have been bit by many dogs/cats. Most of the cats were ferile kittens I was catching to find homes for and the dogs was mostly playing and just got scratches.... Oh and one african grey parrot - I am scared of birds so wont happen again any time soon

I got bitten by my Ball Python. It scared the spit out of me, but it didn’t hurt at all. Been bit by a gerbil, a guinea pig, a hamster, a ferret, a dog, my cat, horseflies, ants, my wife and I’m sure there’s other things I can’t think of at the moment...
Did I mention my wife???

i was bit by my 4’ 4" boa twice and 1st time had four dislodged teeth in my arm. 2nd time just a lil blood also i was bit by a chow chow when i was six got stitches in my arm.
my lil sis was bit by my ball at feeding time. guess who’s not allowed near snakes during feeding now?

I was bittin by my friends leopard gecko. YAY lol luckly it got more of my finger nail then my finger. It did give me quite a cut though. Felt sorta like a paper cut.

I got a lot of laughs reading these posts. Though, it also happened to me with dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, gerbils, and anoles. One anole bit me on the nose. That does hurt.

once by an anole, once by my sisters untamed leopard gecko, and once by this tiny little snake i don’t know what kind, it just felt like it was sucking on me,AAWWWWWW!!!  and my adult ball python struck at me several times but i was just out of reach.

I’ve been bit by a alligator lizard. i m careful and gentle around my garter snake. But how bad does garter snake bites hurt. thats what i want to know. just to know ahead of time. but I’ve only had my garter snake for 1 day. should i expect anything?

I have been bit by my dog that we dont have any more cuss it was agresive so many times. my old hognose snake and my male adult leopard gecko that bit me when I was buying him and left me a mouth mark scar that bleed kinda little but didn’t expect a big cut

i love catching skinks so ive been bit by about 50 or so sometimes i just let them bite cause it doesnt hurt at all. i have also been bit by anoles. i have even been bitten by the elusive younger cousin!!! lol

cornsnakes, rats, mice, hamsters, bunnies, a leo, a collared lizard, gartersnakes,FROGS(it’s true!) 3 foot water snakes, turtles(them and bunnies hurt the worst! ) and many other kritters!

My iguana bit, and hard. My ball python struck out of defense once after eating. He didn’t hold on too long though. It barely broke the skin. My iguana got a piece of skin though OUCH!!!

lots and lots of times by my brothers ball python when she was young and he first got her. I was the one to tame her. i got bit a couple times on the arm by my iguana usually when i would change my hair, i dont think they see color like that but im sure that smell probably means danger danger in iguana, if i was smarter id be scared of anything that smells like that too but instead i rub it all over my head and let it soak in. Oh yeah and ive been bitten by alot of feral cats trying to get food or medicine to them and one time one took a piece of my lip cuz it was trapped on a roof in 20 degree weather and i helped it get down. it just wanted to make sure i never gave it really yummy fish again i think.
