You still need a thermostat to control the heat pads. Without that regulation, they max out at 100-120 degrees. Extremely hot and way too hot for a ball python.

Hi Im Linzie im not to sure if you still have the balls but i had a pretty little gurl i got her very malnurished with mites and slightly dehydrated she was in a 30 gal tank under tank heat proper thermometer and lighting i had her in crushed walnut bedding i found it was great for allowing the humidity to stay in the tank but not having to worry about under belly infection. with her i had to deal with tail infections that she had gotten many times and does to the scabbin she had also started getting tail rott. Anyway after nursing her to health i had taken on an 8lbs 6ft burmese who is also VERY healthy now.... anyway the point being i miss my gurl and im looking to get another ball python and i have quiet abit of experience in the caring for aspect if you still have the balls and you are looking to let them go i have the money i would just need shippin to Ohio .... On the other post that you are trying to get snakes from you said you had a pastel. Didnt even say nothing about a spider.

 Hello!

These snakes are no longer available, I was sent an infected sick snake by a douchebag and had a respiratory virus (OPMV -- Ophidian Paramyxovirus) wipe out most of my collection. I have lost 11 snakes, have 4 more sick ones on death’s door, and managed to save 7 healthy ones by importing a vaccine proven to stop the virus from spreading. I’m still recovering and after what has happened, I will no longer be doing rescues as I can’t risk something like this happening again.
